Alagappa Schools, Chennai & Karaikudi
Preparatory School and the Matriculation Higher Secondary Schools were merged into a single entity in the year 1999 - 2000 and named as 'Alagappa Schools'.
The school has trained and sent 18 batches of X std. students and 12 sets of XII std. students for the Public Examination and has produced consistently creditable results.
Dr.(Mrs) Umayal Ramanathan founded the Alagappa Matriculation School in 1985 to enable the students of the Primary school to pursue their studies in the same place. Starting with a modest strength of 60 students in Std VI the school has now developed into a Higher Secondary School with over 2000 children. The school so far has sent 12 sets of X and 10 sets of XII Standard students for the Board Examinations. The school has been performing creditably in all these years winning district awards and state awards.
