Annai Mathammal Sheela Engineering College has been established and run by Mathammal Sheela Trust. The object of starting the instruction is to supplement Government's efforts to provide professional education to the needy on non-commerical basis.

The College, having about hundred acres, is located at Erumapatty about 15 Kms from the headquarters of Namakkal District.The site is adjoining the Namakkal - Thuraiyur district Highway and in the gorgeous background of Kolli Hills.

The fresh air, sweet medicated water seeping from Kolli Hills, well known for its medicinal plants, and vast area make the campus very healthy.
