Bhaktavatsalam College for Women was started in a suburban area in Korattur during the academic year 1993-1994 by Bhaktavatsalam Memorial Trust with Dr.K.V.Kupusamy as the Chairman, Smt. Sarojini Varadappan as the Vicse Chairman, Smt. K.Padmavathy as the Trustee of the Trust.

With the sole aim of serving for the betterment of women through education Bhaktavatsalam Memorial College imparts life oriented education with job avenues, which in turn will generate an enlightened women force full of ambitions and aspirations, rightly matched to the realities of life.

The sprawling campus is self - contained with a beautiful library, state of art computer center and laboratories pertaining to each Department. The girls' hostel is located in close proximity and the fleet of buses, further help in the growth of this institution.

A separate cell leaded by a Staff to assists the students to obtain their projects during their final year studies. Apart from this, the cell invites a number of prospective employers for the placement of our students. We conduct campus interviews and global job placements for the deserving students. Many students are being placed in reputed companies in India and abroad.
