Government Arts College, Karur is affiliated to Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. The College has been awarded Three Star status by NAAC. The college is accredited with B+ status by NAAC on May 21, 2006.
The college is conferred with autonomous status from 2006-07. The autonomy will be implemented from second semester of 2006-07.
