La Chatelaine Residential Junior College, Valasaravakkam, Chennai is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education.

PLAY SCHOOL, LKG and UKG has a strength of 500 students under the care of forty teaching and non teaching staff.

Children in Standards 1 to 5 are learning all subjects through computers without text books for the past three years. The children are given small attaché case to hold their worksheets and pencils.

From sixth standard onwards we have introduced an attaché case in which one term's portion of the text book and worksheets are inserted .. When one term's portions are completed those text books are removed and the next term's books are inserted. When the worksheets are exhausted they will be replenished by fresh worksheets .The removed part of the text book will be retained for study preparations.
