R. K. Selvamani
R.K. Selvamani is a well known Tamil director. R.K. Selvamani made his debut with the thriller Pulan Visaranai; based on an allegation by Auto Shankar that he had kidnapped many girls at the behest of some political bigwigs.
This movie starring Vijaykanth was the biggest hit of 1990 in tamil. It also fetched a state award for Sarath Kumar for his portrayal of the villain character.
He also made Captain Prabhakaran starring Vijaykanth in 1992 which is both the director's and Vijaykanth's biggest hit. He then made Chembaruthi; an unusual love story starring Roja (actress) and Prashanth in 1992. However, since 1997 he has had no hits.
