Sri Ram Vidhya Mandir Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Perumalpattu is recognized by the Govt. of Tamilnadu vide Proceeding K. Dis. No. 1152/E1/2002 dated 30.10.2002 of the Director of Matriculation Schools Chennai - 600 006. Std X will be started from June 2003.
The inauguration of the school held on Saturday 15th, June 2002. Thiru. V.K.Subbu Raj, I.A.S., Secretary to Government, School Education Department, inaugurated the school.
School has grown with a strength of 294 students from Std. I to IX in this academic year.
