After the success of Raanjhanaa, Eros International is releasing the Tamil version 'Ambikapathy' on June 28th. The film stars Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor in the leading roles. Anand L Rai directed the movie.

Story written by Himanshu Sharma, the film is produced by Krishika Lulla. Natarajan Subramaniam and Vishal Sinha are the men behind the camera. Editing is by Hemal Kothari. Ambikapathy is a love story in the backdrops of Benaras.

Oscar Winner A.R. Rahman has composed the beautiful music of Ambikapathy for the lyrics of Vairamuthu. Abhay Deol, Swara Bhaskar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Shilpi Marwaha, Arvind Gaur, Suraj Singh, Sujata Kumar Krishnamurthy are the others in the main roles.

Eros International is releasing the film on Friday on 200 screens across Tamilnadu.
