Miss India Universe runner up 2010 Pooja Hegde is pairing with Jeeva in the film, while actor Narain will play the villain. Kay composes music for Mugamudi.

Mugamoodi will be an action packed entertainer. Nassar, Selva and Prakash Raj are also said to be playing important roles in Mugamudi.
