Pesu which means Speak is a romance film directed by debutant R. Cyril, a former associate of noted directors Kadhir, Durai and Kala Prabhu.

The story begins in winter and ends with rainy season. The first half will take place in Hilly regions of Southern India where there are green in backdrops. In contrast, the other half will be in Snowy regions of Northern part with white backdrops.

The film features Golf champion Vignesh in lead role while Leelai fame Vipa stars opposite him. Many sports personalities like Salim Durrani, Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Jadeja, athlete Ashwini Nachappa has been in films earlier.

Comedian M. S. Baskar, Mahadevan and Ajay Ratnam play pivotal roles in the film. The film crew has erected set of a railway station across a hill. Vanarajan is the Art director.

Yuvan Shankar Raja scores music. S. Ramakrishnan will pen dialogues for the film. This soft romantic movie will be shot in the locales of Udhagamandalam, Kodaikanal and Manali.

Pesu is produced by V. Jagannathan. It is currently in its filming stage and is expected to release in early 2010.
