Thagaraaru is an upcoming Tamil movie directed by newcomer Ganesh Vinayak and is produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri and Vivek Rathinavel under the banner of Cloud Nine Movies.

Thagaraaru will have Arulnithi and Poorna in the leading roles. Jayaprakash, Pawan, Tarun Shatriya, Murugadoss and Mayilsamy are also in the main cast.

Thagaraaru is a rural flick and is a commercial entertainer. Dil Raj handles camera and editing is by T. S. Suresh. N. R. Raghunanthan tunes music for the film. Rajeevan is the art director while stunt sequences are choreographed by Dilip Suburayan.

Thagaraaru is the story of four friends played by Arulnidhi, Pawan, Dharun Shatriya and Murugadoss. The film set is set in the backdrop of Madurai.
