Thillu Mullu is a forthcoming Tamil comedy entertainer, which is a remake of Rajinikant film 'Thillu Mullu'. Thillu Mullu was a remake of Hindi film Gol Maal. The story of the film is by Sachin Bhowmick.

Thillu Mullu 2 is directed by Badri. S. Madhan produces Thillu Mullu 2 under the banner Vendhar Movies. M. S. Viswanathan and Yuvan Shankar Raja comes together for the first time to score music for this flick.

Mirchi Shiva and Isha Talwar are the leading pair. Prakash Raj enacts the character done by the late Thengai Srinivasan in Thillu Mullu. Kovai Sarala, Sathyan, Soori, Ilavarasu, Manobala, Brahmanandam and Blaaze are the other cast in this film. Santhanam appears in a cameo role in Thillu Mullu 2.

Mirchi Shiva will be essaying role done by the superstar Rajinikant in the earlier version. Isha Talwar who made a mark in Malayalam film through the recent hit 'Thattathin Marayathu'. Isha will be doing Madhavi's role in Thillu Mullu.
