Much awaited combination has finally happened; Gautham Menon has joined hands with Simbhu for his next movie Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya, taglined a different love story again.

Gautham Menon who is known for his hard work has started work of VTV after Vaarnam Aayiram. The ace director with Trisha and Simbu is trying to make the film best in all aspects. Gautham is very much impressed by the hard work of Simbu and Trisha. The pair is having great chemistry.

Trisha was quite happy about the project with Gautham Menon and Simbu. She told media that this film is best in her career. The stills and songs of VTV are floating around in the media which raises the expectations for this movie.

The other big news about this movie is the music director. Gautham always had Harris Jeyaraj score music for his movies but this time decided to go with the Oscar winner. Thamarai is writing lyrics for this film.

Simbhu is currently working on three different projects Poda Podi, Keetavan, Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya.

Director Gautham Menon and Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya team has camped in Kerala. Gautham shoot a song sequence at the backwaters of Allepey.

A Telugu version with Mahesh Babu is also getting made. Gautham plans to release both films together and so he slowed down the shooting of the Tamil version. Mahesh Babu is currently busy with other projects and his dates are unavailable.

Gautham Menon and rest of the crew are tight lipped about the story line or other news.
