Balam is the upcoming Tamil film directed by Murali Krishna, who earlier directed movies like Paarvai Onre Pothume, Pesatha Kannum Pesum and Thirudiya Idhayathai.

Aravind Vinod, a Video Jockey in a popular television channel, turns hero with this movie. This will also be the Tamil debut for Deepa Chari, a model from Mumbai, who has already done a Hindi film Kaboothar.

Almost all the works have been completed for this movie which is expected to release soon.
