| The theme is good...But Poor direction,if this movie was taken by Sankar will be a Super hit..
Continuity lost in many places of the Movie.It' a very lenghty movie, got bored.
Unnecessary Dialogues and over sex9Exposure)by Shreya.Tough to watch with family.
POOR DIRECTION.

| But things made me sit and enjoy were ..Vikram..He has to be appreciated for his gentle acting and also after a sober acting in Shivaji, Shreya has some action in the movie..not just a Barbie girl appearing but some role to play...Special effects and showing with logic behind it was great effort..I would rate it as moderate for a so much Hyped Film.. |

The storyline is something new and the movie is technically excellent . what ails the proceedings is the length . Size does matter - What can be told nicely in 120 minutes is stretched out to 360 minutes filled with expensive songs and dance sequences . | dont go for this bloody crap.this type of movies creating bad images for indian films esp in abroad.some crazies may like dis crap bcoz they never saw gud movies.many guys r saying that vikram is stylish n dashing.then he better go for any fashion parade.in film field only story n acting is important.all most all big movies of tamil have same story .eg:heroe versus some rogs.hero is fighting against injustice like bribes,corruption.simply i say this film is an old wine in new bottle.vikram has not so much fans in tamil nad only he is popular in kerala.y they invest this much of money for a bad film .really ashamed.if zero mark is here i will put it.go n watch any good movies instead of this movie.many malayalam low cost movies r here .go n watch that movies.nowadays malayali guys r like tamil old peoples they like only some tamil over action movies really ashamed |

2nd half average!
NEGATIVES:
Unwanted comedy scenes of vadivelu in 2nd half(is it comedy???)
over sex in 2nd half(unneccessary,rubbish)
if vadivelus' rubbish scenes were not there,film would have been 2.30 hours!
Screenplay weak in 2nd half.
Yellowish mexico scenes really irritating!
Mexico scenes too lengthy!
POSITIVES:
VIKRAM's GREAT ACTING!!!
"Excuse me..." song super!!
Stunts super!
Kanthasami character marvellous!!(hats off to VIKRAM)
ALLTOGETHER FILM IS JUST ABOVE AVERAGE(would have been a super hit if second half was better scripted!!!)

'THAILAKSHMI'.what a crowd! (But wil decrease soon).sankar had already showed better about black money in sivaji,annyan,muthalvan etc. Director had better chosen any other subject other than black money. Vikram had done a gud job as kanthaswamy during the stunt at maize field. CBI vikram is stylish. Lighting during mexico scenes is not gud.(Ful golden yellow).AVERAGE FILM |

| The film opens with scenes which showing the poor people praying in a Murugan Temple at the outskirts of Chennai. They simply sending their prayers to Kanthaswamy, another name of Tamil Lord Muruga who in the temple, through a letter and tie it in a tree (known as petition tree) in front of the temple.
