British mobile major Orange has announced plans to revert all its offshore call centres from India to the UK. The action is a part of the drive to improve services for its 15 million customers. Orange employs about 12000 people in UK.
The company’s monthly contract pay services are reported to be the first to be reverted to Britain. Orange has 345 shops in the UK of which 100 are being revamped to bring them up to date.
Company's chief executive Tom Alexander said that inorder to offer the best customer service, the company need in-house teams who can react quickly to the market and understand the changing needs of the customers. Because of this reason orange is bringing back services from overseas.
