Restoration of Taj Hotel might take a year

The restoration of the century old Taj Mahal Palace and Tower hotel may take about 12 months to complete. The building which bore the brunt of fire and gunshots is badly damaged.

Restoring Taj to its full glory would cost atleast Rs5bn. The hotel which was built in 1903 is one of the symbols of Mumbai, facing Arabian sea. The hotel is older than the Gateway Of India.
