Metal and Power stocks backed today's 571 rally on sensex. Sterlite Industries, Tata Steel, Tata Power, Reliance Infra, Jaiprakash Associates and Hindalco are the major gainers on the sensex with more than 10 percent gain.
Nifty closed at 3148 with 175 points gain.
