World markets slips, Dow lost 344 points, Sensex down 2%

After a less than expected retail spending my Americans and more than expected unemployment data triggered a panic selling in world markets. America's major index Dow Jones lost 344 points (2.99%) and tech index Nasdaq lost 3.2%. European markets also followed the same trend. All European markets lost around 2.5%.

Today morning Asian markets also opened in the red. Nikkei is down 3%, Hangseng is 3.12%.

Indian markets also now trading in negative region. Sensex is now trading at 14569 almost 330 points down from its previous close. Nifty is at 4364 down 83 points.

IT and Bank Index are down more than 2% in NSE. Tata Communications, Sterlite Industries and HDFC banks are the top losers in the nifty. Only BPCL is trading in green in the nifty stocks.
