Jayam Ravi debuted in the film Jayam directed by his brother M Raja.
His popular films are M Kumaran son of Mahalakshmi, Jayam, Something Something Unakkum Enakkum, Deepavali, Santhosh Subramaniam and Dham Dhoom. Now he is working on Peranmai directed by S.P.Jananathan and produced by Ayngaran International.
Ravi was introduced as hero in film by his brother Raja in the movie Jayam released in 2002 produced by their father Mohan. It became a super hit and ultimately attached movie name as a prefix to his name. Ravi and Raja together made some super hit films like Jayam, M. Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi, Unakkum Enakkum and Santhosh Subramaniam. He has so far done 9 films and currently acting in his tenth film Peraanmai under S.P. Jana Nathan’s direction.
