The fare for Chennai Metro is calculated based on the distance traveled. The minimum fare is Rs. 10 and the maximum fare is Rs. 70. There is a discount of 50% for all journeys taken on Sundays and public holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Single journey tokens which needs to be purchased each time for every journey at the ticket counter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Stored Value Cards which can be purchased at the ticket counter and can be used for multiple journeys.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Monthly passes which can be purchased at the ticket counter and are valid for a month.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Tourist cards which can be purchased at the ticket counter and are valid for a day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • There is a free baggage allowance of 7 kg per passenger.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
