This is one of the entrances to the beautiful rock structures and temples of Mamallapuram or nicknamed as "Seven Pagodas".
Mahabalipuram’s Shore Temple was built in the 8th century under the reign of Narasimhavarman II. The temple stands at the shore of the Bay of Bengal in Tamilnadu. Legend is that there were six other temples once stood with it.
