Actor Santhanu had completed shooting of Siddhu plus 2; first attempt directed by his father K Bhagyaraj. His Malayalam debut Angel John with Mohan Lal has come out and is creating disappointing reviews.

Shanthanu’s next Tamil film is Aayiram Vilakku directed by Hochimin. This film will have Sathyaraj supporting Shanatanu in the lead role.

Director S.P. Hosimin made his debut directorial with February 14 starring Bharath-Renuka in lead roles. Hosimin had worked as a journalist and assisted director Shankar for many films including Indian.

Aayiram Vilakku has Srikanth Deva scoring music to the lyrics of Vairamuthu.

Sana Khan will pair with Shantanu in this film. She was introduced as an item girl but later changed her track to heroine. She is been compared with Devayani as the later also got introduced to the industry in an item song for the movie Sivasakthi and then on this item girl became homely heroine.

Sana Khan did Kuthu song in E. Then she got paired up with Little Superstar Silambarasan for his Silambattam, and did Thambikku Indha Ooru with Bharath. Now the girl is paring up with Santhanu Bhagiyaraj.
