In this marriage season for film stars the new name that came up is Sreedevika. She has proved her presence in all South Indian languages.

Malayalam Tamil Kannada actress Sridevika is to marry Mumbai based pilot Rohit Ramachandran on March 27.Sridevika became popular with Ahathian's Kannada film Ramakrishna in which Jai Akash acted.

The betrothal was held in Hotel Gajala at her native place Palghat. Sridevika is the daughter of agriculturist Sethumadhavan and Shoba. The marriage is approved by parents. Her Malayalam films include Anil’s Parthan Kanda Paralokam, Avan Chandiyude Makan, Chembada, Samayam and a children's movie Manchadikkuru.

She also did the Kannada remake of Tamil film Autograph. Her Kannada accounts include Neela Kanda, Santha and Kshana Kshana.

Her films in Tamil are Andha Naal Gnayabagam, Anbe Vaa, and Gnabagangal in Tamil. Gnabagangal was the debut movie of lyricist Pa Vijay as an actor. It was also her last release in Tamil. At present she is shooting for Mirugam fame Saami’s film Sarithiram.

The marriage is scheduled at Prasanna Lakshmi Kalyana Mandapam in Mercy College Road, Palakkad. Relatives and film friends is to attend the marriage.

She will continue acting after her marriage as Rohith has approved it.
