Director Siva's new film starring Ajith Kumar in the leading role is finally taking shape. the film which was announced at the end of 2011 was delayed due to various reasons. Tamanna is playing Ajith's heroine in Veeram.

Vijaya Productions produces this movie and is expected to release the film during Pongal 2014. Vidharth, Ramesh Kanna, Santhanam, Appukutty, Abhinaya, Bala, Munish, Suhail Chandhok and Pradeep Rawat are in the cast of Veeram.

Devi Sri Prasad composes music. Vetri is the cinematographer. Kasi Viswanathan does editing.

Ramesh Kanna plays Ajith's elder brother and Vidharth plays his younger brother. The story of Veeram is based on the country side and a Veshti clad Ajith poster was released during the independance day.
