Gandhi Krishna who made a perfect stroke with his spellbinding debut in Kollywood with ‘Chellamae’ arrives back in town with ‘Ananda Thandavam’. Indeed, it’s a moment that will all remember the best writer Sujatha. Of course, the complete film is inspired from his fantastic book ‘Pirivoam Sandipoam’ that was penned before several years. As a matter of fact, Gandhi Krishna has followed the same dialogues written by the veteran.

The film opens up with Ragupathi (Siddarth) narrating the tale… He’s an engineering graduate who’s on the hotfooted task of getting a right job for his qualification. His dad is his close buddy who shares each and every moment of his life with his ducky son. But, as known unemployment results in frustrations, he’s prone to such a situation. But his life gets a revival when he meets Madhumitha (Thamannah). Her cut looks and clean-handed nature gets him fall in love with her. Eventually, their obstruction comes through Radhakrishnan (Rishi) arrives from Dream Land of States and transfixes the entire family. It’s a matter of overnight where Madhumitha’s marriage is fixed with Radhakrishnan and she flees to United States.

Again woe-stricken in life, Raghu fetches a job across the lanes of busiest city of States where he comes across Rathna (Rukmani), a girl born and brought up in US, yet leads a life of eastern ethnics. Falling in love with each other, they decide to enter nuptials in a famous temple in Pittsburg…

Unfortunately, fate and destiny takes on its turns of deciding the characterizations’ lives.

With G.V. Prakash scoring music to the lyrics of Vairamuthu, the songs are already a chartbuster…

The film hits the screens on April 10 with Aascar Ravichandran producing the film under the banner of Aascar Productions.
