Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikalam is a musical entertainer set in the IT background. The film is written and directed by Gautham Menon. Trisha Krishnan will play the lead role with four new comers.

The film is said to deal with the various problems faced by BPO employees. Shooting for the film began on the 24th of July, 2007 at Tidel Park in Chennai.

Nikitha and Nethra are in the supporting role. Cinematography is by Manoj Paramahamsa.

The film which had a long break in between is expected to be released soon.
