Yesteryear actress Sridevi's come back film English-Vinglish will be released simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on September 21. Amitabh Bachchan plays a cameo role in this flick in Hindi version. The same role will be done by Ajith in the Tamil version.

Debutant director Gauri Shinde directs English Vinglish in which Sridevi plays the central character, after a gap of 15 years. The film is produced by R. Balki, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and R. K. Damani. Amit Trivedi scores music.

English Vinglish will also be screened in Toronto International Film Festival to be held from September 6-16. English Vinglish tells the story of a house wife who enrolls for an English course to please her family. The film tries to tell the fall out of not knowing English in everyday life.

English Vinglish will have French actor Mehdi Nebbou, Adil Hussain and Priya Anand in other important roles.
