Super hit director Prabhudeva is joining hands with Amithabh Bachchan's AB Corp to make a film which aids Abhishek the image of an action hero on par with Salman Khan.

AB Corp better known as ABC was found in nineties but soon wound up as it made flop films and falling into a galore of financial problems. Now AB Corp has managed to outrun Boney Kapoor and Sajid Nadiadwala to get director Prabu Deva.

Director PD gained stardom in Bollywood with Super hit film Wanted starring Salman Khan. Wanted reinforced the image and stardom of Khan.

Abhishek's performance as action (sub) hero was seen in Dus.

The new PD - Abhishek film will be a remake of Vijay's Ghilli, which was made from Mahesh Babu's Okkadu in Telugu.

Prabhu Deva confirmed that he met Abhishek and narrated story, which the junior liked. Ghilli remake will cast a new face as heroine. Prabhu is working on the script which has an abundance of romance and action.

PD will start shooting for this film by mid 2010, after he completes Tamil film titled Paris with Jayam Ravi. PD's last Tamil film with Vijay, Villu didn’t do well at box office. 'Backed with a good script he can be a trusted commercial director', says one of his fans.
