Selvaraghavan and Dhanush is united again for another movie titled Irandam Ulagam. Madhrasapattinam fame, Andrea Jeremiah, is the heroine.

The film which was originally kick started in 2006 with Karthi and Sandhya was titled 'Idhu Malai Nerathu Mayakkam'. Yuvan Shankar Raja was the music director. But later the project got shelved.

Selvaraghavan restarted the project in 2008, with Dhanush and Andrea in the leading roles. G. V. Prakash Kumar was decided as the music director. But the project got shelved again.

The shoot began again in July 2010, with the film titled as 'Maruvan'. Now the movie has been renamed again as Irandam Ulagam. Yuvan Shankar Raja returned as the music director.

Irandam Ulagam is said to be a love story made in a different note. The film tells the story of a young couple who has a dark past and the flick has an interesting tagline: "He is not perfect. She has a past. Perfect Wedding?" So the story might revolve around married relationships.

The trio of Selvaraghavan-Yuvan Shankar Raja-Dhanush had made hits like 'Thulluvadho Ilamai', 'Kadhal Konden' and 'Pudupettai' in yesteryears. Hope the same magic happens again with Irandam Ulagam.
