Kanchana is a sequel to the 2007 horror movie Muni by Raghava Lawrence. The movie is written and directed by Raghava Lawrence himself.

Lawrence also plays the hero of the movie along with Lakshmi Rai and Sarath Kumar in the other leading roles. Sriman, Devan, Manobala, Babu Antony, Kovai Sarala, and Devadarshini also act in the film.

Music is by Thaman S. Kanchana is expected to be a horror comedy thriller. Sarath Kumar appears in a completely different get up in the movie.

Kanchana will be released on July 22.
