Famous movie actress Kavya Madhavan tied the knot with Nishal Chandra at the famous Kollur Mookambika temple Today morning at 10:25am.

Nishal Chandra, who is working in Kuwait as the technical adviser to the National Bank of Kuwait.

Only close relatives and friends will attend today's wedding function in the temple, a reception arranged at Kochi on 9th and another on 12th at Neeleswaram, Kavya's native place.

Kavya Madhavan entered the film industry as a child artist in the film Pookkalam Varavayi (1991) in the role of a school girl. Kavya shot to the status of a heroine with Lal Jose's "Chandranudikkunna Dikkil"(1999)at the age of 14.

Her famous films are Meesa Madhavan, Classmates, Darling Darling, Thilakkam etc. Her Tamil films are Kaasi and Sadhu Miranda.
