It is not just directors, who are turning into actors. Actor Jai Akash turns director with his flick Madhan. Jai himself plays the hero; Sunaina and Renuka Menon are the heroines.

The film has started shooting a couple of years ago but was delayed due to a leg injury sustained by Akash.

Film Madhan was in the news for some bad reasons. Actress Sunaina had registered a complaint at South Indian Artists Association that Jai Akash had morphed her images for some intimate sequences to gain publicity for the film. She further added that she had only acted for a single day for this film.

Jai Akash strongly admits that he will file a case against her in court and settle the disputes legally. Any way this has raised the curiosity of audience which the producers can cash in.

The story of the film is about the troubled love life of an orphan, played by the director.
J D Chakravarthy, Preety Jingania, Devan and Sumithra are the supporting cast.
Seenu Vytla writes the story, Rajesh Yadav cranks the camera and Sai Sridhar and Koteeswaran score the music.

The film’s soundtrack is by State Award winner Bobby, who won the award for the movie Sollamalle. The film has been completed and is ready for simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu.
