Marina, the movie which shows the life of children in the Marina beach, is all set to release on February 3, 2012. Marina is written and directed by Pandiraj of Pasanga fame. He also produces the movie under the banner of Pasanga Productions.

Siva Karthikeyan, the popular TV anchor and host, is the hero of the movie, while Oviya Helen is the heroine. Jayaprakash, Pandian, Senthikumari, Gautham Purushothaman and Jithan Mohan play other leading roles.

Popular actors Ameer, Prakash Raj, Sasikumar, Sneha, Vikram and Vimal will appear in special roles in a song in Marina.

The movie focuses on the life of children selling snacks and other goodies on the beach side at Marina beach. Most of these children are uneducated and are deprived of any luxuries.

Music is composed by London based musician Girishh G, while Vijay cranks the camera. Athiappan Siva is the editor. The music was released on January 9th. The song 'Vanakkam Vazhavaikkum Chennai...' a track from the film features many famous personalities.
