The story of the movie Mathiyosi deals with four petty thieves in a village in Madurai. They do the biggest crime in their lives in their native village and flee to Chennai. They meet a girl in Chennai; how the girl affects their life and what else happen to them in Chennai forms the rest of the story line.

The film has new comers Harish, Alex, Gopal and Vishak in the lead roles, while Shammu dons the role of the female lead character in Mathiyosi.

Vijay Armstrong is wields the camera and Guru Kalyan is the music composer. Snehan has penned the lyrics.

This low profile film has generated a lot of interest and is ready for release.
