Muran is an upcoming Tamil movie from Cheran's production house Dream Theatres. The film has Cheran acting along with Prasanna, Nikita Thukral, Haripriya, and Jayaprakash in the leading roles.

Muran is written and directed by Rajjan Madhav, son of Malayalam music composer late Sri. Raveendran.

Muran has music scored by Rajjan's brother, Sajjan Madhav and cinematography by Padmesh. Arun Durairaj does the editing.

Muran is the story of two contrasting characters and the relationship between them. This will be Cheran's next movie after Yudham Sei. Prasanna is also doing a powerful role after Anjathey in Muran.

The film’s shooting is in final stages and might release soon.
