Kalluri fame Akhil is the hero in the upcoming release Nandhi opposite Renigunta heroine Sanusha. Tamilvannan of Kalvannin Kadhali and Matchakaaran fame, directs this flick produced by Dinesh Karthick under the banner Vision x Media.

The story of the film Nandhi is about a person who considers himself as 'Nandhi' and another person who always bypasses him. Their feelings and emotions are depicted in the movie.

Nandhi's story is set in the backdrop of Ramanathapuram. The shooting of the film is held in many villages like Puthendhal, Dhevipattinam and Therpogi.

The film has Akhil playing a different role from his previous films. Sanusha also plays her part best. The music is by Bharathwaj. Lyrics is penned by Muthu Vijayan.

Malaysian actresses Norah and Tanushiya are also featured in a song sequence in the film.

Nandhi will reach screens on November 12.
