Nee Indri Naan Illai is a movie based on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Kalaigner Karunanidhi’s novel Suruli Malai.
Meera jasmine is the heroine in this film where she plays as a tribal girl.

Considered as one of the talented artistes in South Indian films, Meera has acted opposite many top heroes in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada. Meera made her debut in the Malayalam film with Soothradharan in 2001and in Tamil with Run. Meera Jasmine was recently seen in Mariyathai opposite Vijayakanth.

The movie features Uday Kiran and Meera Jasmine in lead roles while Karthika does a prominent role. Udaykiran plays as a forest officer in the movie.

Other members of the cast include Thalaivasal Vijay, Manorama, Ganja Karuppu and Kovai Sarala.
