Vikram who has gone down in popularity in recent years is trying hard to gain back his admirability by carefully scrutinizing directors and scripts. His latest release Kandasamy was a hit only for the producer.

The film didn't do well and has garnered him bad reviews. After Kandasamy he has signed up many films as he didn’t want to put all the eggs in one basket. His pre final Bheema was also not very welcoming.

Director Siddique has cooked up a script for Vikram in which Chiyan is said to be very impressed. Vikram who has been listening many scripts these days gave green signal as he liked the story. He believes in the script so much that he him selves is the producer. This will be a Tamil Hindi bilingual also.

Vikram is to enter mainline Bollywood with Raavan. He doesn’t want to loose the opportunity and is to use the image given by Manirathnam to his advantage.

Siddique is famous with Tamil audience after the success of film Friends which starred today’s top stars Vijay and Suriya in the lead. Siddique is known to make comedy films with English titles.

Chiyan is ready to do the film with Siddique.

After the successful Bodyguard starring Dileep and Nayantara in the lead, this Malayalam director is to remake this latest hit in Tamil with Vijay and Asin. Tamil version has already started rolling with alterations to suit Tamil taste.

Vijay is presently working on his 50th film Suraa directed by S.P. Rajkumar. Suraa is the remake of Malayalam film Chotta Mumbai.
