After the great success of thimiru & sanda kozhi, 'Thoranai' is a forthcoming movie of vishal produced by his brother's owned banner G k corporation vikram krishna who recently ties knot with shreya reddy. 'Thoranai' is also releasing in telugu in the name of 'Pistha'.

Vishal acts with shriya saran for the first time with prakash raj on the opposite lead. It was directed by sabha ayyappan who works as an assistant with famous directors mouli, boopathy pandiyan & shaji kailash.

The story, screenplay and dialogues are also by Ayappan. The movie first introductory song 'Adi Adi Athiradi'......song set to tuned by Mani Sharma was sung by Ranjith. a huge set comprised a 60-feet statue of Goddess Durga and over 500 shops. Choreographed by Shobi.

Erected in 45 days by art director Velu Prakash and his team, the song shoot was in a village festival style. Meenakshi, who acted in Karuppasamy Kuthagaikarar with karan, is dancing for the opening song with Vishal in the company of over 200 dancer.

‘Thoranai” is going to be a masala movie based with action, Romantic and also with some humour and going to be an another super hit movie for vishal. The shooting was continued for 15 days and another sequences will be shot in next 30 days in vizag & chalakudy areas. Song sequences of shriya and vishal will be in rome & Austria.
