Viswaroopam is the upcoming thriller movie from Kamalhaasan. Kamalhaasan directs this flick and also has penned the story. He will be producing the movie under the banner Rajkamal International.

Music is composed by musical trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Pooja Kumar will don the female lead opposite Kamal Haasan. Earlier Sonakshi Sinha was signed in for the lead character. Pooja Kumar is an NRI girl of Punjabi origin. She was Miss India USA and has been a VJ for Channel V.

Selvaraghavan was to do the direction for this film, but due to his busy schedule, he was ousted from the project and Kamal took up the role of the director. Rahul Bose, Isha Sharvani, Andrea Jeremiah, Jaideep Ahlawat, Samrat Chakrabarti, and Shekhar Kapur are the other people on the cast.

Viswaroopam is a bi-lingual produced in Hindi and Tamil. Rahul Bose is the villain of Viswaroopam. Kamalhaasan's younger daughter Akshara Haasan is going to assist her dad in this project.

Kamal will be doing the role of an Afghan Mujahideen in Viswaroopam. This is going to be a big budgeted film, most probably the costliest film made in India.
