Yathumagi, the movie which is expected to be a good romantic entertainer, is all set to hit screens on March 12, 2010. The film has debutant Sachin and Sunaina of Kaadhalil Vizhunthen fame in the lead roles.

Sunaina, who shot to fame in her film Kaadhalil Vizhunthen, had success in her next movie Masilamani too. She hopes to continue her journey in Kollywood with this release too.

Sachin is a former ad guy with a sound engineering background in AR Rahman’s studio.

The story of Yathumagi revolves around a girl, who comes to Chennai from Kumbakonam, to meet her boy friend. The pair has entirely different preferences. How they unite inspite of their differences form the crux of the story.

Producer turned actor, Azhagan Tamizhmani plays the role of Sunaina’s father in Yathumagi.

After Subramaniyapuram and Pasanga, Yathumagi is going to be the third film for music composer James Vasanthan. The songs in this film have already produced good reviews.
