Chikku Bukku is a beautiful romantic love story directed by Manikandan, who has assisted late director Jeeva in many films.

The film has Arya as the protagonist. Shriya Saran acts opposite Arya for the first time in this movie. Mumbai based model Preetika also appears in another important role in Chikku Bukku.

The movie is a travelogue of two people by starting in London and ends in Karaikudi.
