Simbudevan, who debuted as director with Imsai Arasan Irubathu Moondram Pulikesi is preparing the movie Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam. The movie stars Lawrence, Padmapriya, Lakshmi Rai, Sandhya, Nasar, M.S Baskar, Manorama, Mouli etc.

According to the director, the film is a western theme with a Tamil flavor. After M.G.R period a cowboy movie was no where to be seen in Tamil cinema.

Kalpathi S Agoram's AGS Entertainment which produced movies like Thiruttu Payalae, Santosh Subramaniam and Masilamani is producing Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam.
