Alpha Arts and Science College is part of the four decade old Alpha Group of Institutions. The College is a private unaided, co-educational Arts and Science College approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to the University of Madras.

The College, started in the year 1996 - 97 was upgraded as a Post Graduate Institution in the year 2001 - 02.

Alpha Arts and Science College believes that teaching is a key part of the learning process. Campus recruitment is one of the important aspects of our institution and eminent organizations are invited for recruitment annually.
