DDGD Vaishnav College is one of the reputed educational institutions in the metropolis of Chennai. The college is affiliated to the University of Madras.
With a humble beginning as an undergraduate college in 1964, it grew into a multidisciplinary centre of learning. To provide educational opportunities to the working class, the college started evening courses (1971) and distance learning programmes of IGNOU (1992).
