RVS College of Arts & Science, Sulur, Coimbatore

RVS College of Arts & Science, Sulur, Coimbatore is a co-educational institution under the management of Rathinavel Subramaniam, son of Vijayashree - Dr. K.V. Kupusamy, the Chairman, R.V.S Educational Trust.

Over the past 13 years it has grown to become the biggest self-financing college in terms of students strength, offering 17 U.G and 18 P.G Courses. It is the endeavor of the institution to glow radiantly in every sphere of activity.

The RVS College of Arts and Science is affiliated to the Bharathiar University and it blossomed into a full-fledged centre of learning on 31st October, 1986 with 83 students and nine staff members. At present, there are 104 members in the teaching staff and 28 non-teaching staff serving about 2000 students.

In the beginning, the college offered 4 PG courses and 10 UG courses including Bachelor of Computer science, Bachelor of Business Management and Bachelor of Commerce. During 1987 the University gave affiliation to B.Sc. Electronics and for M.Com in 1989. The College got the affiliation for M.C.A. Course and B.Sc. Catering Science & Hotel Management during 1991.
