Sapthagiri College of Education is Approved by all NCTE, D.T.E.R.T. Chennai. The college is affiliated to the Periyar University, Salem and Govt of TamilNadu.

One year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course, 2 Year D.T.Ed. course and M.Ed. Course are offered here.

All trainees shall undergo an intensive teaching practice cum observation classes for 40 days in each year in the schools allotted.
