The fare for Chennai Metro is calculated based on the distance traveled. The minimum fare is Rs. 10 and the maximum fare is Rs. 70. There is a discount of 50% for all journeys taken on Sundays and public holidays.

- There is a free baggage allowance of 7 kg per passenger.
