Christian Mission Hospital, Madurai - working to make healthcare a reality for those who have none.
With help from mission agencies over the years, the diocese has been able to establish and maintain the Christian Mission Hospital in Madurai, the Dr Jones Hospital in Ramnad and the Skin Hospital in Kilanjunai.
As well as providing 300 beds, the Christian Mission Hospital is the base from which free medical camps are provided in villages and other remote areas, bringing relief, healing and health education. But more than half of the population still has little or no access to local medical care or health education.
